Otherwise known as High-Temp alloys, these nickel/iron/cobalt alloys are able to withstand temperatures above 500 Celsius. They are durable, strong, and resistant to corrosion, characteristics which are sought by the aerospace, medical, electronics, and defense industries
Cobalt-base alloys are derived from the cobalt–chromium–tungsten and cobalt–chromium–molybdenum ternaries. Cobalt alloys have good magnetic properties, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and high temperature strength.
Alloy steels are derived from steel that has been alloyed with one or more other metals or elements to improve specific properties such as strength or resistance to wear.
Copper, Brass, and Bronze
These three similar materials are known as the “Red Metals”. They possess excellent electrical conductivity characteristics and exhibit great resistance to corrosion.
